Example: 85 (30%), 72 (30%) and 90 (40%) → (25.5 + 21.6 + 36) = 83.1. The simple average would be 82.3.
Multiply each value by its percentage, add them up and divide by 100 (or by the sum of the percentages).
In a simple average every value counts equally; in a weighted average each counts by its weight.
