How CalcFolks handles information. Last updated 31 October 2026.

Summary

You can use every tool without an account. The values you type into calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.

Information stored on your device

To remember your recent tools, saved tools, theme, preferred units, your cookie choice and the 24-hour lock on feedback votes, we use your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device; you can clear it any time from the home page or your browser settings.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, we store your email address, the name you give us, your saved tools and your saved results, so you can use them on any device. Sign-in works with a one-time code sent to your email; there is no password. Account data is stored with our database provider, Supabase. You can delete your account and its data at any time from your account page.

To block automated sign-ups, the sign-in form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser without tracking you for advertising.

Information you send us

If you use the contact, tool request or error report forms, or answer “Did we solve your problem?”, we receive what you submit (for example your name, email, message and the page you were on) and use it only to reply and improve the tools. Messages are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.

Analytics

With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which tools are used, so we can improve them. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and is loaded only after you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice any time with . See Google’s privacy policy.

Advertising

The site is funded by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure them, including ads based on your earlier visits to this and other sites. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, UK and Brazil), personalized ads are shown only with your consent. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and turn off personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it records technical logs (such as IP address, browser and time of request) for security and to keep the site running.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Most of this you can do yourself from your account page; for anything else, email us and we’ll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
