Matrix operations
- Determinant: computed by Gaussian elimination with partial pivoting. A matrix is invertible only if its determinant isn’t 0.
- Inverse: Gauss–Jordan elimination on [A | I]. A × A⁻¹ = I.
- Multiplication: entry (i, j) of A × B is row i of A dotted with column j of B, so A’s columns must equal B’s rows. A × B usually differs from B × A.
Results are floating-point; values within 10⁻¹² of zero are shown as 0.
