Unicode includes small raised (superscript) and lowered (subscript) versions of digits, some symbols and most letters, so they display as text in social posts, chat and documents without special formatting. A few letters (for example superscript q and capital C, F, Q, S, X, Y, Z, and many subscript letters) have no standard character and are left as normal letters.
For math or chemistry in a document, real formatting (like x2) is more accessible to screen readers than Unicode look-alikes.
Type 2 in the box with Superscript selected and copy the result.
